Night Vision

[December 5th, 2016] I don’t think I’d ever made a cocktail with carrot juice before but as one drawn to vegetal drinks, I felt I had to give it a try. Additionally, I have several bottles of barrel-aged gin, and was really not sure I’d ever get around to using them. Then, along came Night Vision. It might actually make you see better.


1 ½ oz Barrel-Aged Gin (I used Few)
½ oz Lemon
¼ oz Bianco Vermouth
1 oz Carrot Syrup (fresh carrot juice mixed equally with 1:1 simple syrup)
4 dashes Caraway Tincture
1 Very Thin Carrot Ribbon


  1. Shake ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  3. Garnish with carrot.

Caraway Tincture

  • 2-3 tbsp Roasted Caraway Seeds
  • 750 ml Rye
  • Infuse for 3 days then strain.
