[December 5th, 2016] I don’t think I’d ever made a cocktail with carrot juice before but as one drawn to vegetal drinks, I felt I had to give it a try. Additionally, I have several bottles of barrel-aged gin, and was really not sure I’d ever get around to using them. Then, along came Night Vision. It might actually make you see better.
|1 ½ oz||Barrel-Aged Gin (I used Few)|
|¼ oz||Bianco Vermouth|
|1 oz||Carrot Syrup (fresh carrot juice mixed equally with 1:1 simple syrup)|
|4 dashes||Caraway Tincture|
|1||Very Thin Carrot Ribbon|
- Shake ingredients with ice.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
- Garnish with carrot.
- 2-3 tbsp Roasted Caraway Seeds
- 750 ml Rye
- Infuse for 3 days then strain.
